Packing & shipping charges: Plants are mostly shipped UPS GROUNDTRAC, so we will need your street address for delivery. See shipping charts & instructions below: Allow 2 to 3 weeks for delivery. Visits to the nursery are welcome, but by appointment only. Prices are subject to change without notice. Plants are sold on a first come, first served basis, and sometimes are in short supply. Please indicate on your order form if you would like us to substitute a similar plant for one we are out of, or if you would like a refund, or credit on your account.
Small plants are shipped in containers with root and soil intact if not a liner stock. Otherwise, plants are shipped with as much of the root-ball intact, with as little disturbance as possible, packed in damp moss, or similar mix. Some plants are too large to ship, and must be picked up at the nursery. In some cases if prior special arrangement has been made for additional postage and handling, larger plants may be shipped. Plants up to 24" in size can be shipped, but plants larger than a 1 gal container size may be sent without the container, packed in a soil substitute, enclosed in poly bags. Contact us before ordering to arrange transportation of larger plants. We will make every effort to ship healthy plants, and to avoid shipment during inclement weather. We shall in no case be liable for any sum greater than the amount originally received for the stock. If you wish special insurance on the parcel from the shipping company, or the postal service, please notify us prior to shipping, so that we may make arrangements. If you have any special instructions or requests as applies to shipping your plants, please advise with your order. If for any reason you are dissatisfied, or wish to ask a question about the plants, just contact us. Our nursery stock changes constantly. There are usually other species here at the nursery, maybe not in large quantity, or too large to put on the mail order listing. If you are looking for something, and you don’t see it on the list, please inquire, we may have it sitting in a corner of the nursery. We also have the resources to locate special plants you may be looking for. Ask us, and we will find it. HOW
TO ORDER If you order by credit card, we can calculate your
exact shipping cost and notify you by email at shipping. Your card will not be
billed until the shipment is ready to go. We then bill your acct. for exact
charges. If you wish to purchase with a check, or money
order, you can estimate the shipping and handling with the charts provided. First,
determine your weights based on this chart:
For small
plants; 1 yr and 2 yr are subject to the minimum charge which is $10.00 plus
$0.45 per plant. This allows you to
ship several small plants in one box. When combining 1 and 2 yr plants with larger plants,
just add the weights listed for them on chart above. Find your zone on zipcode chart, and match weight
with price on shipping chart. HANDLING / PACKAGINGAdd $6.00 for handling up to 50 lb. This
is for packaging. This does not include the actual UPS shipping charge. Maximum
weight per box cannot exceed 50 lbs. An additional box may be needed with bulky
plants. Weights over 50 lb., will require another box, add $6.00 for amount up to next 50 lb. Large orders: we recommend you call us for calculation. Determine
